A group of parents saw a pattern where their children were always glued to their mobile devices and that time was dedicated almost exclusively to games, socializing and surfing the web. They developed a concept for an app that would encourage more productive and balanced screen time.
Fortress created an app for Android along with a corresponding website and online portal. We assisted in their marketing strategy in addition to website and app design/development. We also created a script and filmed a commercial for the client to use for marketing and PR. The Lock2Learn app requires children to answer age-appropriate questions from different subjects in order to use their devices. L2L also provides parents with reports on progress and usage information on how their kids are interacting with their devices.
Within the first week, Lock2Learn ranked as one of the top 25 education apps in the country.
